Rumored: Microsoft Pink to Arrive at CES 2009

|

We heard Microsoft is entering the phone business with an actual device next year. While we're still waiting for more details we get another Microsoft rumor. The bad Windows maker has a Pink product which will get a weird technology combo from the Zune and from the Danger Inc.

The Pink, whatever it is, might arrive at CES 2009. By then we should figure out if this Pink rumor has anything to do with Microsoft's phone.

Hugo Boss Samsung F480 Anyone?

|

Every once in a while we get a phone covered with fancy names or jewelery for that matter. This time there's no bling bling on top of this Hugo Boss Samsung F480. But hey, the fancy name is right there. The Hugo Boss edition is just a regular F480 with a Hugo Boss logo on top of it. Unfortunately that logo is going to cost you. It's €479 or $620, but you'll have to go to Europe to snatch one.

Hot Blackberry Storm for $99.99!

|

The Blackberry Storm is instantly disappearing from Verizon stores everywhere. And Verizon is having quite a hard time keeping up with the demand. The Storm is available in stores now for $199.00 with a plan. What do you think happened if the latest Blackberry were available for $99.99?

Apparently the online retailer letstalk.com is going to sell it out there for the bargain price of $99.99.

I guess the plan is to sell a lots of units over the holiday season. You would have to pay $69.99 per month for the following two years, but hey, it must be all worth it. You should also know the whole $99.99 deal starts on December 2nd.

Storm 9530 by BlackBerry Now On Verizon Website

|

In case you want to avoid those lines at Verizon Wireless stores, go online and check out the official page of the BlackBerry 9530 Storm. It's available for the same $199.99 after mail-in rebate and with a contract. I'd be curious on that stock supply. Would we be better off ordering online or should we get a sleeping bag ready in front of a Verizon store? What was your experience when you purchased your Storm today?

HP Launches First Multi-touch Laptop, the TouchSmart tx2

|

The first multi-touch laptop was bound to be released sooner or later, especially with Windows Mobile 7 being developed to support multi-touch. And it was HP, not Apple, that managed to pull it off. The TouchSmart tx2 will get you multi-touch two-finger control but there's a catch to it. The whole multi-touch thing works only with the HP MediaSmart suite of applications.

The TouchSmart tx2 is a 12.1 inch laptop which can get you up to 8GB of RAM. An AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core processor will power it all up and you can opt for storage space anywhere from 160 to 500GB. The WXGA screen has an embedded N-trig digitizer which will help you do all that multi-touching. No word on availability and pricing yet, but we'll keep you posted!

With the first multi-touch laptop already out, we're going to wait for the rest of them to appear.

Is the Nokia E63 the New Nokia E71 but Better?

|

The Nokia E63 has just been announced by Nokia. Deja-vu feeling coming yet? Yes sure it's similar in design to the E71 but it's something totally new.

If you don't want a BlackBerry to play with but you'd like that BlackBerry feeling, then you absolutely need an E series smartphone. The E63 sports the same full QWERTY keyboard which provides that full support for your SMS and email needs. The E63 will be available soon and it will cost just 199 Euro before future subsidies and of course, taxes.

Soren Petersen, Senior Vice President of Nokia says:

Our research shows that people want a device that deals with both their personal and professional lives, but helps them to separate the two. When someone sits down at lunch, they want to update their social network or browse their personal email account and they don't want work getting in the way of that. It's another great case of technology adapting to the people that use it. The Nokia E63 is a new proposition for Eseries - a messaging device where people will be just as involved in their social network as they are in their business network.

Let's look at the specs now. There's WiFi support, fast access to Mail for Exchange, support for Files on Ovi and access to 1GB of online file storage for free. Nokia Music Store comes also with the E63 and there's a 3.5 mm audio jack for your musical pleasure. The built-in camera will get you lots of photos and videos to share with your friends.

Want more? More specs and a release date? Well stick with us 'cause we do to, and we will surely find out more!
