$190 Netbook Found, Not RecommendedBy Maverick - 12/08/2008 2:51:59 PM |
Not much more powerful than your last scientific calclator is the Alpha 400, a new netbook that does not break the bank. Coming in at $189.95, the mini-laptop features a 400MHz (whoa, megahertz?!) MIPS processor, 128MB of RAM (super whoa!), 1GB of flash memory for storage and a teeny-weeny 7 inch screen. There’s also an SD slot that supports up to 32GB memory cards.
Even if money is tight, I don’t see how anyone can actually buy this in good conscience. But if you’re looking to bust out your wallet for an underpowered, Linux netbook, who am I to stop you.
