What you see above are SoftBank BB’s Japan Texture iPhone cases, as you can see they aren’t made out of gold (although they are covered in gold dust), they don’t have money hidden in them and there are no diamonds, they do, however, cost $1,000.

Each case is reportedly hand crafted (in 3-4 weeks) and includes references to various historical happenings of Japanese culture. Not to mention they look freakin’ sweet.

Then again, would you really want a case that costs more than the phone it’s protecting?
