100 iPads Ordered by California HospitalBy Brian - 04/21/2010 3:02:28 PM |
The Kaweah Delta Health Care in California has reportedly ordered about 100 iPads which is set to replace laptops for office needs and for use in looking at X-ray images and other patient monitoring programs. Paired with their Citrix virtual desktop software, information dissemination should be made easier with the integration of the iPad.
They have 3 iPads initially used for testing and demonstrations but have already placed an order for 100 more iPads. A new twist for health care rendering no doubt!
