You’ve heard the stories of various inmates smuggling cell phones in prisons. Well that’s not acceptable folks and the U.S. Senate officially said that. In other words prisons will be allowed to use jamming equipment which will turn those cell phones inside the jail useless. That sounds like bad news for those people actually working inside a prison doesn’t it? The “Safe Prisons Communications Act” will go now to the House where it should also pass without any problems. Would satellite phones work while regular phones will be jammed? Here’s something to think about when considering sneaking a phone in your cell, getting a satellite handset!
